CP Sketch # 2♦

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope all you ladies get spoiled by your special someone today!

The Card Patterns Design Team would like to thank all of you who took time to play along with our first sketch. It was a great success and we are all humbled with all your lovely comments and e-mails. It was truly heart warming!

So now on for our Sketch #2. Another simple card with basic shapes. Flip the images around, turn it upside down, design the edges, add more details and elements to it and for sure it will look truly adorable!

Today, we would like to introduce to you a Guest Design Team member for this week. Please join me in welcoming Liz Webber from Australia. Here's a little info about Liz.

I am a SAHM scrapbooker who loves to scrap, chat, read, listen to music and take photos and enjoy time with my 2 beautiful kids. I have been scrapbooking for just over 4 years and creating digital sketches for 1 year. I have been making my own cards for almost 7 years.

We will be featuring one (1) guest designer each week starting today! Please see details on the right sidebar.

Do you want to be a guest designer for Card Patterns?
Guest Design Team Spot for Sketch #4!

How to Join:
  1. Provide us with your take on the Sketch# 2 by typing your name and the direct link to your take in the Mr. Linky box. Please do not provide your general blog address. Links without the interpretation of the card will be deleted.
  2. You have until Friday, Feb 20 at 12:00noon (EST) to submit your work.
  3. I will pick top 3 choices and the DT will pick their most favorite card.
  4. Winner will be announced on Monday, Feb 23 along with the photo of your card.
Sounds fun?! Grab those scrap supplies & start creating!

We would also like to take this opportunity to greet our fellow design team members Tracy & Kris who recently celebrated their birthdays. Happy Birthday!!!

Now, for the fun part! Wanna see what our Design Team came up with their fantastic ideas? Click on their name to go to their blog or click on the photo to enlarge it.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
