For those of you who are new here at Card Patterns and might be wondering.. How do we pick our Guest Designer?
Each week, 1 of our team picks her top 5. Everyone vote for their favorite and second most favorite. There are 8 designers and 5 picks so our ratio is 8:5. Sometimes, if 1 or 2 is on vacation, we do get a tie. Whoever had the most second vote gets the spot. Picking top 5 is bitter sweet experience. There's always more than great 5 cards to pick.

Having said this... from next week (August), we will be picking 6 cards instead of 5. This should be more exciting!

Aside from the little details, we love how she used different patterns of paper yet they all coordinated beautifully. From a simple sketch, she turned it to a sweet stunning card.
