Sketch 43

Thank once again to everyone who took the time and participated with us last week.
We'd like to take this opportunity hoping all our friends in United States had a great Thanksgiving and wish our Muslim friends "Eid Mubarak".

Sherrod has once again sponsored the team this week. We're one lucky gals! Don't forget, we'll add the participants from last week & this week's sketch to draw the winner this Monday (Nov 30) to receive:

FREE Sherrod Studio Stamp
($15.00 value or less)

Look who's our Guest Designer for this week? Please welcome....

(Laural's Passion for Paper)

Here's a little info about Laural:

I'm a 30 year old SAHM of 3 beautiful children who enjoys paper crafting as a creative outlet and who has also enjoyed socializing with the ladies in the blogging/crafting community during the last 4 months. This is my first guest designer submission and to celebrate I'll be giving away Blog Candy so please head over to my blog once you downloaded this fabulous sketch. I never imagined being a guest designer for anything so you'll just have to excuse my simple picture taking abilities without a light box.

IMO the appeal of this sketch is actually the idea of having different yet cohesive paper patterns on the 3 vertical panels. The paper had to be fun and I wanted to make a Christmas card to send out for the holidays. What better solution than Eskimo Kisses complemented by SU! card stock, ink and rub-ons? I hope my take of the sketch has inspired you to create your own and thanks so much ladies for this exciting opportunity.

Click on Laural's Name or photo to go to her blog and leave her some sweet love!

Lots of ideas to work around this sketch. Have a look at how our team did it and hope you'll join the fun!

This week, we're here to introduce you to another talent.

Faith Skrdla
(Delightful Insipiration)

Here's a little info about Faith.
Hello, my name is Faith and I live near Lake Superior in Michigan's upper peninsula. I started making cards in the fall of 2006 when I borrowed some stamps and ink to make handmade Thanksgiving cards. I purchased my own stamps to use in scrapbook pages, but I ended up making many more cards instead. I have three amazing children (8, almost 5, and 2) and a wonderful husband. Together we love to take advantage of all the U.P.'s beautiful outdoors offer--fishing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, dirt bike riding, snowshoeing, camping, boating. I love all kinds of art, and I'm just as passionate about photography as I am about cards. I am so honored to be selected to appear next to the fabulous designers of Card Patterns! Thank you!!

Head on over to Faith's blog by clicking on her photo or her name above to be further inspired!
And hoping once again to inspire you on how to work on our sketch this week.
