Good morning! We're happy that you could stop by and spend a little bit of your Saturday with us here on Card Patterns. Your comments and participation always means so much to us!

Let's get right down to business so you can get to the fun.

We're lucky to be sponsored by Gina K Designs this week! Here's more about them:

GinaK also has the most reasonable international shipping available online to accommodate their growing non-US clientele. US customers get free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

GinaK Designs hosts the fast growing StampTV site, where Gina, owner of GinaK Designs, shows weekly video tutorials of different stamping techniques. This forum now boasts almost 12,000 members and over 36,000 uploaded projects in its short life. The Prize:
GinaK Designs is offering up this wonderful prize pack to one random participant this week!

The Sketch:
Remember, you can always flip or rotate elements of the sketch. Just be sure to have fun with it!

The Guest Designer:

We're lucky to be joined today by the very talented Jacqueline de Groot.

Here's a little more about Jacqueline:

"My name is Jacqueline and I live in the South of France with DH and four sons. I am not French, I am English.

I started card-making years ago because I couldn't find the cards I liked in the local shops in France, to send to friends and family back home! They were also so expensive so I decided to make my own. That's when I gradually got interested in rubber stamps. I absolutely love the vintage style and colors and made the cards I would have loved to have found in the shops. I still love card-making and have a blog which keeps me in contact with lovely people on the Internet who craft as their hobby."

And here is Jacqueline's wonderful take on this week's sketch:

The Design Team:

Lastly, we hope you will be inspired by our design team's take on the sketch this week, starting with two very talented guests from the Gina K design team.

  6. I was led here by Mel's post/card, and couldn't pass up an opportunity to win another of her sets. What a great easy-to-use sketch. So glad to find this site. I was inspired by Mel's card and her beach themed set to give my card a "sea" feel. Thanks to GKD for the generosity, and to Mel for turning me onto the site. And thank you for the opportunity to play along.
