Sketch 76

Hello beautiful people! Michelle here- enjoying our vacation and the warm weather in British Columbia, Canada. Hope you all are enjoying this great weather, too!

The Sketch:
Today we have one of the basic card sketches to follow. It's totally up to you to embellish it or keep it simple.

The Sponsor:
This week, we're fortunate to be sponsored by Meljen Designs. The team was spoiled to work on their adorable whimsical images as well.

Here's some info about them:

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

The Prize:
For one random Card Patterns' participant, Meljen's Designs is going to give away 4 digital images of the winner's choice.

The Guest Designer:
We're so excited to feature our Guest Designer this week. Please extend your love to...

Here's some info about Natasha:

"Hi there my name is Tasha and I'm addicted to paper and stamps! I am a 27 year old student and mother of 3 1/2 year old Millie. I live on the southcoast of England and love the sea. I have been crafting for a few years now but only been participating in challenges for the past 2 years. I mainly make cards but i do enjoy making the odd altered project. I suffer from insomnia so i will always be found in my craft room of an evening, it's my guilty little pleasure! If there is one thing i cant live without it would be my copics....oh and my paper....er maybe my entire stash!"

And here are the team's interpretation of the sketch (including 2 of Meljen's Designs designer.

  16. I enjoyed putting two images on the same card. I loved the cards by the DT also. How do you guys get such vivid colors? Mine either look washed out or too dark. And I correct them what I can in Photoshop Elements. TFS, dj
