Getting to know Julie:
Hi, I am Julie Elak, aka "The Last Minute Crafter". I am beyond excited and honored that I get to play along as a designer this week. I have been married for almost 12 years and I am Mom to a daughter who is 6 and twin boys who are 2 1/2. My days are kept busy working full time and running after my children. Once the kids are in bed I start crafting away. I started stamping well over 10 years ago, but my love for paper crafting found renewed energy once I discovered the online community last year. I love challenges and picking up inspiration from everyone's incredible blogs.

Sketch 48

Good morning! I hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start. It's Tracy here taking my turn on the blog this month. I'm here to bring you sketch 48 so let's waste no time and get right to it!

We're lucky to have Sarah Masteller as our guest designer this week. Here's a little about Sarah:

"Hi my name is Sarah and I'm so thrilled to have been picked to be as a guest designer for Card Patterns. I'm married, have 3 kids whom I homeschool, and I'm a registered nurse. I was first introduced to papercrafting back in late 2007 when I went with some friends to a Close To My Heart workshop. I believe my exact words were 'Oh, I will never do that it costs wayyy too much money.' Was I wrong! I was totally addicted from the start and it's been one huge learning curve ever since. I became a CTMH consultant in 2008 and started blogging Feb 2009. I then discovered papercrafting challenge sites and was thrilled by how much they improved my card making. In the summer I was asked to join the design team on Unscripted Sketches, I have so much fun with those talented ladies. Thanks for choosing my card and for the chance to be a guest designer this week."

Getting to know Teresa
"Hello, my name is Teresa Kline, I live in the beautiful state of Virginia with my husband Gary and our Boxer, Jesse. He encourages me in my creating and truly is my biggest fan, I am very grateful for that!
I have always been crafty and had a love for paper, I even collected stationary as a child. I want to learn more about stamping and creating; I am inspired by all those around me. There is some amazing talent in this industry, I am always looking to be inspired. I enjoy creating very much, if it wasn't for my full time job I would spend my days creating, blogging and learning. I want to thank the gals at Card Patterns for giving me a guest spot, it has been fun! I hope that you are inspired and will make time in your day to create.....enjoy!"
