Sketch 56 Super Six

Happy Monday, Card Patterns friends! Thank you all for entering last week's challenge. I loved seeing all your creations. It was agonizing to pick the top 6 with so many beautiful entries. Just a quick reminder, there were a few links that went to the main blog address, instead of the direct link to your post. Make sure you link to the post with your Card Patterns entry. Otherwise, we may miss your CP card.

And make sure you click on their links to see the cards up close:

Our Guest DT spot for Sketch 58 goes to: AGATA with this beautiful Merci card. I love the rich colors and how well she colored the butterfly. It's just simply elegant and stunning.

And now the winner of the SRM Stickers Prize package, chosen by random.org, goes to:

#53 Karen Knegten

Please email us, Karen, at cardpatterns@yahoo.com so we can send our prize out to you.

Getting to know Lindsay:
I am so honored to be the guest designer for sketch 57!  Thank you so much!  I really love this sketch for its versatility!  It can be kept simple and clean or can be dressed up and added to. Just a little about myself, I started scrapbooking in 2005 and very simply at that!  At the time, the thought of making a card sent me into a cold sweat.  I obviously got over it and have been serious about my card making for a little over a year and a half.  I enjoy being "known" for my cards within my family and group of friends, but I feel even more excited to be able to inspire and be inspired by other papercrafters and know that we share a creative passion for works of art in the form of cards!  I am married to a wonderful man who puts up with my crafty ways and together we have a 2 year old son, Jonathan.  I feel very blessed to be able to share what I love with others!

Leave Lindsay some love! Click on her name above to go directly to her blog.

Heather Jensen
(Simply Handmade by Heather)

My name is Heather Jensen and I am honored to be chosen for the guest DT for this week's challenge. I currently live in Iowa and will be moving to Alabama in 4 weeks. We have had a very hard winter and have decided to move closer to my family and warmer weather. I have a 10 year old son and wonderful husband who supports me and my crafting habits. He will even go with me to the craft stores and help me get my supplies. Great huh? I started off scrapbooking and very quickly moved to cardmaking. I started my blog in October 2009, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I pretty much spend all of my spare time in my craft space making cards, I participate in Card Patterns challenges regularly, they always have the greatest sketches. I look forward to seeing everyone's creations. I hope you'll like mine.

We are also fortunate to be joined by 2 other team members from SRM Stickers.

Let's get right down to business so you can get down to fun, ok?

The sketch:

The sponsor:

Our sponsor this week is Little Paper Shop.
"We launched our company in April 2008 with 7 sets and 6 individual stamps, most of which are of masculine themes. Since then we have expanded our clear stamp line to include over 70 sets including our most popular {Little Cuties} line! We now stock a variety of digital images as well. Our stamps are manufactured in the US using only high quality photopolymer. Each set is hand inspected to ensure you are receiving only top quality products."

LPS is generously offering a $20 gift certificate to one random participant!

Guest designer:

"My Name is Lenet Mos. I live with my husband, two kids, and two ginger tomcats in the Netherlands. I’m a stay at home mom and have been scrapbooking for about 4 years now. I started making cards in July 2009. At the moment I’m totally into card making especially with card sketches. I think you can say I’m a bit addicted to it. Every spare moment I have I spend on making cards. I’m very exited and honored to be chosen to be the guest designer for this week’s challenge and I hope you like my take on the sketch."

Design team inspiration:

Here is our wonderful design team's take on the sketch, using images from Little Paper Shop. We were lucky enough to be joined by two of LPS's own very talented design team members this week.
