SemSee

Getting to know Semsee:
Hello! My name is Simonne, but I'm more commonly known as Sem or SemSee in the blogging world.  I'm a SAHM to our wonderful 9 yr old daughter.  I bought my very first stamp in December 2008 and since then I've become hooked! I am currently on the DT for 4 different rubber stamp companies, and feel truly honoured and blessed to be able to create for them. Making cards is my main focus, although I love to dabble in gift boxes and altered items from time to time.  I love my Copics, my favourite technique is paper piecing, and I just couldn't craft without my flatback pearls!  I am so excited to be a guest designer for Card Patterns - thank you for having me!

Here are the team's interpretation of the sketch. Remember, you don't have to be tied up to a shape that is in the sketch. You ca always flip it or rotate it.

Sketch #82

A happy Saturday to you all, our lovely readers and participants. I just noticed that our followers have surpassed the 1400 mark!!! Thank you for your support and participation every week. We may have to have a blog candy when we hit 1500 followers. What do you think?

In the meantime, I hope you will have a lovely weekend planned with some crafting involved. Here's our latest sketch to jump start your creativity.

Our sponsor this week is Creative Clear Stamps with this adorable stamp set:
Here's a bit of info about Creative Clear Stamps' Owner, Laura Bastian:

Hi everyone! I am Laura Bastian, owner and designer for Creative Vision and the Creative Clear Stamps Store. About 3 years ago I told my friends (over cocktails of course) that I was going to start making my own line of clear stamps. They assumed it was the alcohol talking, but a year later my website was open for business! The past 2 years have been a blessing for me, honestly. I have met a ton of wonderful new friends and have learned so much more than I ever thought possible. With a lot of hard work, I am finally living my dream. I invite you all to visit my blog for inspiration, and my store to browse through my original line of cute, silly, and sassy stamps.

And we are pleased to have our guest DT, Greta Hess, join us this week.

My name is Greta Hess. I live in beautiful Oregon, USA, with my husband of 31 years and our 2 Standard Schnauzers. I'm definitely a "dog person"! We all love taking the travel trailer to campgrounds. I'm a full-time Registered Nurse and making cards (and shopping for supplies!) is how I like to use my spare time! I took over the dining room years ago, so you can tell I have a supportive spouse! I'm so honored and thrilled to be this week's CardPatterns Guest Designer!

And here's her take on the sketch:

I hope you like the Card Patterns crew's interpretation of the sketch below.
