Welcome to another fresh sketch here at Card Patterns! We hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
We have a brand new sponsor for you this week!
Whimsie Doodles is so excited to be sponsoring the new challenge! In March of 2009 Melyssa Connolly, artist and owner, began turning her whimsical hand-drawn images into digital files for sale online. Whimsie Doodles' digital stamp line features images that range from cute little boys and girls, to punny stuff, and everything in-between. We enjoy sharing lots of samples on our company blog, where we also post weekly challenges and tutorials.
A special offer for Card Patterns Fans - use the discount code CardPatt10 at the Whimsie Doodles online store and receive 10% off your next order! Code expires 30 days from today.*
One (1) winner from our participant list will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the Whimsie Doodles Online Store.
We're so excited to feature our new Guest Designer. Please join us in welcoming
Dahlia Memories
I am so honored to be guest designer for Card Pattern Challenges sketch 121. I discovered the amazing world of paper crafts a few months ago when I decided to help my preschooler make his valentines cards instead of buying. I love the process of card making that helps bring out my inner creative spirit. I love all aspects of paper crafts – color, pattern, embellishments, and techniques. I am eclectic in my approach, and my styles vary from clean and simple to shabby chic. Now, I have become a voracious reader of the online world of card making blogs. I feel so privileged to be part of this inspiring community!
Here's Chunyuan's take on the sketch.

Here's our rocker designers who I think rocked this sketch!
Nina Brackett
Anja Curvers
Amy Tsuruta
Vanessa Menhorn
Tracy Schultz
