"I’m so pleased to have been chosen as Guest Designer this week. I love Card Patterns sketches they just seem to suit my style perfectly.I've always dabbled in a bit of sewing and knitting since my schooldays. I made the odd pair of curtains and knitted jumper, but only got into card making about three years ago. I got so frustrated with the lack of ‘different’ cards available in the shops I thought I’d have a go at making my own and the rest is history as they say!
I like to experiment with different card base shapes and as well as cards, to create altered items and 3d projects. I’ve just recently become fascinated with ‘upcycling’. I love the idea of making something from almost nothing. I get a lot of my inspiration from home décor and fashion magazines and websites; they’re great places for spotting the latest design and colour trends."
