Getting to know Danielle:
My name is Danielle, I'm a stay at home mom by day and a crafter by night. When my kids are sleeping, I like to get my craft on! I love all sorts of different crafts, but right now, it's paper crafting specifically card making, holds my heart.

My signature style is layered vintage and/or shabby chic, but I also like to challenge and stretch myself to try new styles and new things. I just started crafty blogging this past November and love participating in challenges and being a part of this great community!

Here are the team's own interpretation of the sketch.

We would love to see you participate! Simply link up your creation using the Mr. Linky box below. Please post a direct link only. Non-direct links may be deleted. [Click here for a tutorial on how to link using the Mr. Linky box.]. To be eligible for the prize and for chance at being a guest designer, please link up your new creation by
Friday, March 4th at 11:59pm EST
Also, just a note to our dear readers...We want to visit your blogs to see your gorgeous takes on the sketches. We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider turning off (disabling) word verification on your blog to help ensure we leave a comment for you! Thank you!

Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker is a husband and wife team. They design and manufacture scrapbook paper and embellishments. For decades Nikki has been a scrapbooker and has always loved all kinds of scrapbook paper.

Her dream became real after Nikki’s husband, Dan, retired from the law firm he co-founded after 16 years of being a lawyer. Dan had desired to embark on a new career for many years. It was one of those moments in life where they knew a door of opportunity could be opened. Nikki and Dan asked, “If not now, then when?” Their deep desire to bring the dream into reality became so strong they stepped through the door and together devoted themselves to making it come true.

Nikki is giving away the prize below to one lucky winner.

Debra Carriere: Scrappin' My Heart Out

Hello, my name is Debbie Carriere. I live with my husband & 3 children about 15 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom when my first baby was born nearly 6 years ago, I worked in Research & Process Development for a pharmaceutical company. My paper crafting journey began just after starting a family. I have been an Independent Consultant with Close to My Heart for 3 years. Until starting a blog about 7 months ago, I was predominantly a scrapbooker. Now I am completely addicted to cardmaking & challenges, not to mention blogging! I absolutely love to look at and be inspired by all the talented crafters in the blogosphere. I have made so many "blogging friends" - it is amazing. The wonderful comments people leave really motivate me to keep creating & learning new skills. Having three very busy young children keeps me on my toes, & it is wonderful to have a creative outlet that helps me de-stress at the end of the day. Most nights after the kids are in bed, you will find me crafting in my "scrap room" until the wee hours. Sketches are my absolute favorite! I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for Card Patterns this week!

And here is Debbie's adorable take on this week's sketch! I love the cupcakes, each with a different type of frosting. This is so clever!

And here is the first blog for you to hop to. Click on her photo to go directly to her blog. Be sure to leave a comment for Amy to qualify for today's prize.

Thank you so much for a wonderful TWO years! We hope you will enjoy the blog hop this week!
