Sandra MacLean: Paper Funtastics
Hi Everyone! I'm Sandra MacLean and I am SO THRILLED to be a guest designer for Card Patterns this week! I am always picking my jaw up off the floor after seeing the cards that made the Super 6 each week, so you can imagine my shock when I saw mine amongst them!

I live in the USA now, but I was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia. I have a loving husband and a spunky 6.5 yr old daughter and together, we live in an old farmhouse, built in 1890, which we're slowly filling it with vintage things we find at auctions. I picked up the stamping bug about 5 years ago when a friend told me about Splitcoaststampers. I joined despite never making a card before but I was so impressed with how detailed these cards were! I've made a few (hundred) cards since then and I still love the stamps, papers and most of all, coloring! It's how I like to wind down. :)

And here is Sandra's wonderful take on the sketch:

  16. I made it just in time, have to go out soon! I did not have an oval shape die, so ended up using a rectangular shape. Was almost not going to participate due to the oval shape!! Thanks for the great sketch!!

  17. I am just starting to accumulate a die stash, so I didn't have an oval one either, but sketches are open to interpretation and I substituted the shape for a circle. I got mine in with 5 minutes to spare, thanks ladies, I TOTALLY loved this sketch! Had a super fun time creating my card with it, thanks for the inspo! You guys rock it every week!
