Sketch 162

We're back with a simple little sketch I drew up for you- I hope you enjoy it!!

Yes...Sparkle is her real name. She has been crafting since she was a child, but seriously started crafting when she was 16. Sparkle started as a scrapbooker, though over the years she has turned into a cardmaker. Brent (Sparkle's husband) and Sparkle opened SparkleCreations Rubber Stamps in July 2010, and they are selling cute and whimsical rubber stamps of little boy and girl images. Aki, their wonderful artist, has done a great job at making their characters come alive and have their own personalities.

The randomly picked winner this week will receive 2 stamps from Sparkle Creations: Street Corner Josh & Swimming Lucy!

Hello everyone, my name is Connie MacFarlane and I am so excited to be Guest Designer at Card Patterns this week. I live in a small town in eastern Ontario, Canada with my incredible husband of over thirty years. I have two wonderful grown daughters who unfortunately live many hours away, one in Toronto and one in Calgary. I started crafting at a very early age when I learned how to sew clothes for my Barbie using patterns and my mother’s old treadle sewing machine. Since then I have tried my hand at many arts and crafts, but I would have to say that paper crafting has become one of my favourites. I started scrapbooking about seven years ago and expanded to card making and entering challenges last year when I started my blog. I am in awe of all of the fabulous talent out there and can’t wait to see what you do with this week’s sketch.

And here is Connie's adorable take on the sketch:
