Janet Perafan-Babar: More than Just Color

Hello Card Patterns! I am Janet, a Mommy to three young children - two boys and a girl, ages 7, 9, and 11 and a wife to my husband for almost 16 years. I am a night owl, but during the day I am either working from home managing our transportation company, volunteering at the school, or preparing lessons for my children's supplemental home schooling. I started paper scrapping in 2006. I don't have a signature style, I like all styles and pretty much go with whatever mood the sketch and products take me. It's been a long while since I created a page, my passion now is creating cards. My other scrapbooking passion is designing with color. I truly enjoy creating color combos and it's the basis for a long-time running challenge site that I created in 2007. My days are full and my nights are long. My favorite items to scrap with is twine and punches, I have never used a sewing machine on anything paper, I drink too much coffee, my favorite color is turquoise, my favorite food is Burger King's French Fries, my crafting studio is in the basement, and I chill to either Classic New Wave 80's music like Inxs, Depeche Mode or Modern Indie Folk music like Lenka, Priscilla Ahn or Adele when I am creating. Thank you, Michelle, Tracy and the rest of the Card Patterns team for this opportunity to be this week's Guest Designer, I am beyond thrilled and honored!
