I hope you enjoy all the layers and possibilities of this sketch- I really enjoyed drawing it!

Lori McCroskey started Clear Dollar Stamps in the corner of her basement in October of 2004. Originally, all Clear Dollar Stamps were designed by Lori. As time went on, Clear Dollar Stamps attracted the talents of Laurie Wilson, Vicki Conquest, Kim Teasdale, Shawne Arnold, and Trudy Sjolander. Our goal is to provide the highest quality clear stamps, digital images, and products at the lowest possible prices! Clear Dollar Stamps does not have expensive or fancy packaging in an effort to keep prices low and to be as green as possible. We want EVERY stay at home mom to be able to afford stamps if she wants them!

Lea Lawson: Lea's Cupcakes & Sunshine

My name is Lea Lawson, and I reside in beautiful Missoula, Montana. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Josh, for 9 years, and we have two of the cutest dogs in the world- a yorkie named Bailey and a cocker spaniel named Sadie. I am a professional photographer, who focuses on weddings and senior portraiture, but also throw my hat in on some families and babies at times.
I have been crafting in some shape or form for as long as I can remember! When I was younger, I would use stationary items (Lisa Frank was my idol) and stickers, then cut up my photos (EEEK!) and arrange them together. The finished product would hang all over my walls and closet doors. When I graduated from high school, my aunt Amy gave me a scrapbooking kit, and that is when I was formally introduced to scrapbooking...
While I used to scrapbook more than I made cards, the tables have completely turned and I actually barely scrapbook any longer. I almost 100% exclusively make cards now, and I love it! The card making community is wonderful, and I have met some amazing women through it. You can see my work in publications like Paper Crafts Magazine/Special Issues, Cards Magazine, Cricut Magazine and occasionally in Scrapbook Trends Magazine.

"My name is Anna-Karin and I have been doing arts and crafts my whole life, but papercrafting is the one that has totally captured my heart and mind. We have an almost two-year old little boy who does not sit still for a second, and who loves to play with my stamps. I have been making cards since 2002, when I got the idea of making my own Christmas cards. It turned out to be a brilliant idea and cardmaking has given me numerous hours of fun since then. I also scrapbook and enjoy switching between the differently sized space of a card and a layout. My stamps are my absolute favorite tools and I love creating something using only white paper, stamps and ink. My hands are very often ink stained, and I have gone to quite a few meetings with completely blue or green hands. I love trying out new and old techniques, to experiment and try different products and tools. The possibilities are truly endless."

"I'm a 34 year old Midwestern girl who moved to Massachusetts 3 years ago for my hubby's job. We have 2 crazy kids, ages 6 and 4, and a sweet 10 year old pup named Maia. By day I work as a Laboratory Technician at a private college, and by night I watch ice hockey, basketball, and craft!

I started card making and blogging about a year and a half ago, and I have been addicted ever since. The amazingly talented crafters I have gotten to know in that time are a constant source of inspiration, and I'm always excited to discover new talent and make new friends in the crafting community. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Card Patterns Design Team, and I hope that my creations will inspire you to play along each week!"

"Hi, I'm Clare Buswell! I live in a small village called Athea in the south-west of Ireland with Niall and our beautiful daughter Isabelle.

I've always been creative in some form or another, I have a passion for painting and I've tried lots of different crafts over the years. I love quilling and making my own embellishments. I studied graphic design at art college. I only discovered stamping after the birth of my daughter when I had little time for painting but longed to be creative. Card making was the perfect answer for me as it satisfied all my creative needs. I design regularly for Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine in the UK and watch out for my cards in Paper Crafts Magazine. I also run card-making workshops in my local craft shop. I love challenge blogs, they really help to push me outside my comfort zone. I'm really excited to be joining the team at Card Patterns and to work alongside such a talented group!"

Lenet Mos: To Scrap or Not to Scrap

"Hi I am Lenet Mos. I'm living with my husband, two kids, and ginger tomcat in Enkhuizen, a town near the IJsselmeer in the Netherlands. I work as a partime preschool teacher, so I have a lot of spare time to spent in my craftroom.

I think I have been crafting all my life and tried all different kinds of crafting. I started making cards when I started my blog 2 years ago and still love it. I used to be more of a scrapbooker but having a kind of scrappersblock for the last two year now. Think card making is a good substitute for it and I'm making one almost every day. Guess that makes me a cardmaking addict!"

We would like to wish farewell to a very special team member today: Nina Brackett has decided to step away from Card Patterns to spend more time with her family. Nina has been a wonderful friend to Michelle and I and will be greatly missed. Her creativity inspires so many people here at Card Patterns. We will miss you Nina!

I have loved papercrafting for as long as I can remember (since preschool, really!) My Craft Spot started out as a place to share my ideas through pictures and video tutorials. Hi I am Lenet Mos. I'm living with my husband, two kids, and ginger tomcat in Enkhuizen, a town near the IJsselmeer in the Netherlands. I work as a partime preschool teatcher, so I have a lot of spare time to spent in my craftroom.

I think I have been crafting all my life and tried all different kinds of crafting. I started making cards when I started my blog 2 years ago and still love it. Hi, My name is Lori and I am a happy fun loving Southern girl who lives in Western North Carolina. I’m blessed to have two precious little boys who are the light of my life. They are so much fun. I also am really lucky to live next door to my best friend and sister who is also adores paper crafting. The two of us are a dangerous pair at a scrap expo that’s for sure. I’m truly am in love with my family and God and feel so blessed everyday to have been given this great life. I’ve always enjoyed crafting and have been involved in the arts in one form or another…I started with pottery in highschool, moved to metal in college and then switched to papercrafting 10 years ago when my first son was born. I still love to incorporate metal and other mediums into my papercrafting every chance I can get. I’ve really pushed myself in the last year to take my paper to the next level and have come so far. I’m all about trying new techniques and staying up on the latest craze in the papercrafting world. I really view my craft as my passion, hobby and therapy and can’t imagine it not being part of my life.

My name is Berdien Weideveld, 39 years old, married to William and together we have two beautiful daughters Celine and Kyara. We live in a beautiful small village called Bemmel in the Netherlands.

My creative talents I inherited from my mother. When I was little, we were always together on crafting. And now I do the same with my own daughters. About 8 years ago I saw scrapbooking in a magazine and I was hooked immediately ! My daughters are almost always the subject of my layouts and my mini-books. I love many different styles. At the moment the vintage style is my favorite. I like to use stamps, distress-ink and glimmermist on my layouts and cards.

Yes...Sparkle is her real name. She has been crafting since she was a child, but seriously started crafting when she was 16. Sparkle started as a scrapbooker, though over the years she has turned into a cardmaker. Brent (Sparkle's husband) and Sparkleopened SparkleCreations Rubber Stamps in July 2010, and they are selling cute and whimsical rubber stamps of little boy and girl images. Aki, their wonderful artist, has done a great job at making their characters come alive and have their own personalities.

'My name is Anna-Karin and I am so happy and honoured to be a guest designer at Card Patterns. I have been doing arts and crafts my whole life, but papercrafting is the one that has totally captured my heart and mind. Hello again dear friends! Welcome to another sketch this week. We have an awesome one provided by our very own Tracy Schultz! For many of you who does not know, Tracy does a lot of organization within Card Patterns & she works really hard for all of us so thank you Tracy!

Yes...Sparkle is her real name. She has been crafting since she was a child, but seriously started crafting when she was 16. Sparkle started as a scrapbooker, though over the years she has turned into a cardmaker. Brent (Sparkle's husband) and Sparkleopened SparkleCreations Rubber Stamps in July 2010, and they are selling cute and whimsical rubber stamps of little boy and girl images. Hello, my name is Monika Jakubowska aka “Monia”. I live in Poland and I am a stay-at-home mommy to two children, Zuzia (6) and Michaś (1,5). Sometimes we are crafting together with Zuzia.

Happy Saturday! I'm back from a shortened vacation, thanks to hurricane Irene. I hope my American friends that were affected have recovered already. You're in our thoughts!

A big thank you to our very own Elise & Tesa for holding down the fort while we were away and arranging the posts- we really appreciate it!!

I have loved papercrafting for as long as I can remember (since preschool, really!) My Craft Spot started out as a place to share my ideas through pictures and video tutorials. Then I discovered Scrunched Seam Binding! I started hand dyeing the seam binding and now I have over 30 beautiful colors in my store! (I think I am addicted! LOL!) I also have 28 yummy colors of Bakers Twine, including a great new Halloween twist, Twinery Twine, Trendy Twine (3 colors twisted together!), Traditional twine and my own hand dyed Vintage Twine! A few months ago I started my own line of High Quality Photopolymer Stamps! I now have 8 sets including a Fall set and 2 cute Halloween sets just released in August. Silke Ledlow: My Life

Hi, my name is Silke Ledlow, I live in the beautiful State of Georgia. I'm originally from Germany and moved to the United States almost 13 years ago. My husband Jerry and I celebrated our 17th Anniversary this past June. We have three beautiful girls named Sarah (13), Rebecca (10) and Miriam (6) plus a boxer boy named Luke. I started making cards about 5 years ago and it became a great hobby for me...it definitely keeps me sane...LOL. I have the pleasure of designing for a few fabulous stamp companies and made some wonderful friends along the way.
