Carolin (MIA): MIAs zaubereien
I'm living downtown in a flat with my two cats and my boyfriend in Duisburg, Germany. I love crafting, no matter if it's knitting, sewing, drawing... Anything. One year ago I started card making, and it really caught me - I'm addicted to paper and stamps.

When I'm making a card, I prefer to have a sketch. I like the challenge of getting my stuff to look good in that particular combination.

And here is Carolin's adorable take on the sketch:

Jeanne Jachna: A Kept Life
Hi, I'm Jeanne Jachna. I'm a married, stay at home mom of two teenagers, and one very large Akita. I have been interested in the arts for as long as I can remember and have tried everything from pottery and leaded glass to jewelry making and candlewicking. I love to try new techniques and can't resist bling, big bows and colorful paper. I like to scrapbook memories and make mini albums as gifts for family and friends who've joined our adventures, but card making has captivated me completely. I started my blog A Kept Life last May to take my creativity digital. I have been impressed by the talented designers I've come across, and touched by the kindness of new friends I've met through blogging. I'm honored and delighted to be the guest designer this week for Card Patterns.

And here is Jeanne's wonderful take on the sketch:

Sketch 152

Welcome back to all of our regular followers and players. And a big wave and hi to all of our newcomers. We hope you'll find time to play along with us this week!

Feel free to rotate this sketch any way you'd like- just as long as all the elements are there. And be sure to have fun with it!

Yes...Sparkle is her real name. She has been crafting since she was a child, but seriously started crafting when she was 16. Sparkle started as a scrapbooker, though over the years she has turned into a cardmaker. Brent (Sparkle's husband) and Sparkle opened SparkleCreations Rubber Stamps in July 2010, and they are selling cute and whimsical rubber stamps of little boy and girl images. Aki, their wonderful artist, has done a great job at making their characters come alive and have their own personalities.

The randomly picked winner this week will receive 2 stamps from Sparkle Creations: Surfing Oliver & Swimming Lucy!

Lianne: Lianne's Platinums
What a great surprise to be guest designer for Card Patterns this week! I am Lianne, 39 years old and living in the Netherlands . Happily married to Ron and together we have three boys. Sietse- 14, Jelle- 12, and Tijmen- 9. I’m working at home as a nanny ( in Holland we call that guest-parent ) of three little kids.

When I was a little girl I already loved playing with paper and I still do. For twenty years I make cards and about eight years ago I discovered scrapping. And wow, I love it. When I make a card I try to make it personal, for example to put the Name of the baby on the card. This card is for my mothers birthday.

And here is Lianne's beautiful take on the sketch:
